New Delhi: In the wake of increasing terror attacks on truckdrivers in Jammu and Kashmir, BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav onSaturday stressed that terrorists are only harming the interests of locals inthe Valley by targeting the traders. He also asserted that security forces willdeal with such incidents firmly now.

Earlier on Thursday, two people died and one was leftinjured after terrorists opened fire at two trucks near Chitragam in Shopian.The incident came less than two weeks after a truck driver from Rajasthan and aworker from Chhattisgarh were killed in Kashmir in two separate incidents.

While speaking to media, Ram Madhav said, "By attackingthe traders who come to Kashmir for work, the terrorists are actually harmingthe interests of locals. Our security forces will deal with such incidentsfirmly."
